Some of the information contained in this walking tour is from the “Southwest Side Historic District,” a National Register of Historic Places nomination prepared by Carol Lohry Cartwright in 1996 for the the Commission.  A copy of the nomination is available at the Stoughton Public Library.  The assistance of the the Commission, Carol L.
